Springwell will continue with our popular camp programs in 2012. These include weekend mini-camps from May 24th weekend until the end of June 2012. Summer camps begin again the first week of July, 2012 and run through the summer. Registration forms are available upon request.

Springwell will be doing a number of Western and English shows during the 2012 season.

Price per rider: $175 - includes horse lease, trailering and coaching.

Class fees are separate and not included, and are to be paid the day of the show.

Lead rope trail rides are offered for young or inexperienced riders. These begin the May 24th weekend and run through until the Thanksgiving weekend. Please allow a minimum of three days notice for bookings, as these book up fast.

For those of you that have wanted to try out having a horse of your very own, we are introducing a leasing program. Several of our horses are available for lease outside of the summer camp season. Springwell Riders will only have to cover the cost of board without any additional fee for leasing the horse. Riders leasing a horse will have show privileges during the months they are leasing, and will have reduced rates for lessons. Horses that are still available for lease include Tex, Boomer and Rocky.

Lessons are available on weekends pending availability, from the May 24th weekend until Thanksgiving weekend. The rate is $50/lesson with private lessons lasting 30 minutes in length, semi-private are 45 minutes, and groups of 3 or more are one hour in length. The lesson length is the time spent on the horse - plan on 20 minutes before the lesson and 20 after to prepare the horse for the lesson. We provide help with this for those not experienced enough groom and tack up on their own.

For the very young, or for those that just want a gentle introduction to horses, we can arrange a farm visit where kids can visit and pet all our farm animals, learn how to lead and groom a horse, and have a pony or cart ride. Prices start at $25 per child.
